Tucked away in my basement is the very first photo album I created with photos I took with, yes, an old disposable film camera.  I was eight or so years old with a camera and a vision.  I captured moments of my day, and the people and stuffed animals I loved.

I followed my passion in my high school and college days, taking photography classes and then finally purchasing my first Canon camera.  

Then I became a mom and my passion didn't end, it just...changed.  I had to slow down and trust in God's timing. I swapped early morning sun rise sessions and chasing golden hour to middle of the night diaper changes and baby snuggles,

In 2025, I found myself with an unexpected job change. God's timing is always perfect and it turns out that it was the perfect time to refocus on photography.  Out of the blue, I had several friends who approached me and said, "Can you take family photos of our family?" One friend confessed, "I'm always the one behind the camera taking photos of my kids, I want to finally be in some photos with my kids!" That's when I knew that the photography that I was passionate about could be more than just a hobby.  It was what I was meant to do.  Fast forward to today and life is both busy chasing three little ones around and fun.  I'm getting to do what I am passionate about; creating lasting memories in photographs for those all around the Northland.
